Kory One for Zoho Bigin
The Kory One integration with Zoho Bigin lets you connect your WhatsApp Business account to your CRM, centralizing communication and increasing the efficiency of your sales team. Below, we explain step by step how to use it.
The availability of certain features may vary according to the plan purchased, user permissions, and the features enabled in each environment.
1Install the Kory One Topping from the Zoho Bigin Marketplace
- Search for the “Kory One” app in the Marketplace.
- Click “Install” to get started.
2Create your account and log in to Kory One
- When you open the topping, create your free account (14-day trial, no credit card required).
- Then log in with the credentials you just created.
3Connect your WhatsApp number
- Go to the “Channels” section.
- Click “Create Channel”, enter a name, and select the connection type.
Unofficial API
- Most affordable solution
- Connect via QR Code in minutes
- Allows group conversations
- Requires an active mobile device
Official API (Meta)
- Lower risk of blocking
- Possibility of verified business badge
- Requires Meta approval
- Meta charges per conversation
Inside the Zoho Bigin embed, channels that use the Unofficial API cannot be displayed or used. Open Kory One in the web version to access this feature.
4Link the connected number to Zoho Bigin
- Go to “Integrations” > “Bigin” > “Channels” tab.
- Under “Available channels”, click “Link” on the desired channel.
- Linked channels appear in the “Linked channels” list and can be unlinked at any time.
- The “Permissions” tab defines which users access each channel.
5Sync contacts and start new conversations
Two ways to start a conversation:
From Kory One
- 1Access the “Contacts” list.
- 2Click “Sync Bigin contacts”.
- 3Click the new conversation icon next to the contact.
- 4Select the source channel, the recipient, and send an approved template.
From the CRM record
- 1Open the “Kory Chat” tab inside the contact record in Bigin.
- 2Choose an approved template and send.
To start a conversation outside the 24-hour support window, WhatsApp requires sending a template previously approved by Meta.
6Access and organize your chats
All
All messages received on your number.
Active
Conversations with ongoing support and recent interactions.
Closed
Conversations closed or inactive due to lack of interaction.
Unanswered
Messages with active notifications that have not yet been answered.
Click the expand icon to access the customer card, with centralized and real-time updated lead information: CRM contacts, companies (accounts), pipeline cards, and tasks — with shortcuts to edit, view notes, or open the record in Zoho Bigin.
The chat also includes internal notes (whisper), scheduled messages, and file and audio sending.
7Create WhatsApp campaigns
- Click “New Campaign” in the “Campaigns” section.
- The assistant has 5 steps: Name → Audience → Message → Send → Completion.
- The audience can be segmented based on CRM data.
8Track campaign results
| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sent | The bar changes during sending until it reaches the "Completed" status, revealing the final result of effective sends from the list. |
| Delivered | Sent messages are not necessarily delivered. Contacts who blocked the sender, for example, appear as sent but not delivered. |
| Read | The percentage may not be 100% accurate, since users who disable read receipts on WhatsApp are not counted. |
| Errors | May vary: phone formatting errors, numbers that do not exist on WhatsApp, among others. |
